Young Innovators Holiday Camp (7 & 8 Dec 2026)
School holidays are an opportunity for children to explore new interests, work with others and apply what they learn beyond the classroom.
This December, mangoSTEEMS Malaysia is bringing STEM, coding and English literacy together through the Young Innovators Holiday Camp, a two-day programme designed for children aged 9–12.
Held on 7 and 8 December 2026 at the mangoSTEEMS Learning Centre USJ 9, the camp combines hands-on construction, coding challenges, reading, creative work and group presentation activities.
What will young innovators experience?
Build two hands-on STEM projects
Participants will explore science and engineering concepts by completing two hands-on projects using Hakubun STEM kits.
The guided activities encourage children to observe, assemble, test and understand how their projects work.
Develop coding and problem-solving skills
Through CodeMonkey activities, participants will practise coding fundamentals and apply logical thinking to age-appropriate challenges.
The sessions are designed to encourage experimentation, persistence and independent problem-solving.
Explore English literacy and creativity
Using mangoSTEEMS Universe, participants will take part in an interactive English reading activity before discussing what they have learned with their group.
They will then apply their ideas by creating a team project poster.
Work together and present
The programme concludes with a collaborative presentation. Each group will organise its ideas and present its final project to the other participants.
This gives children an opportunity to practise teamwork, communication and confidence in a supportive environment.
